Topic What Is Notifications?

We will inform you when you have new reservation requests, inquiries, and more via mail. These notifications may be sent at any time.

Below we outline where to find and how notifications works:

  1. Login to your account
  2. Click on Notifications in the top-right corner of the page you are on
  3. Now the notifications section pops-up. You can also reach notifications via your dashboard. Notifications is divided into:
  • The date that the notification came in
  • The type of notification divided into: ‘New Reservation, New Question Received, Question Answered, Review Reminder, New Travel Issue, New Travel Issue Reply, Experience Flagged and Profile Flagged’
  • The status of the notification
  • The details of the notification such as type, booking id etc.
  • The actions that you need to undertake divided into: ‘Message the Host, View Ticket, View Booking, View Message and Reply to Travel Issue’
In the Notifications header you will find Update Notifications. After you’ve selected a specific notification you can set the status to either: 1. Muted (which means that the notification is ‘On Hold’), 2. To do (which means that the action for the notification is still pending), 3. Archived (which means that the notification will be archived) or 4. Deleted (which means that the notification will be deleted). After this you click on Update after which the selected notifications will be updated.
